Welcome to Mamers & Moo plus You

In this introductory blog post, I would like to introduce myself, and share how I came to be involved with, and more recently, the new owner of Mamers and Moo. My name is Amy Nystrom. I have been married to my amazing husband, Peter, for twenty-one years, and am blessed to be "Mama" to two teenaged boys. I plan to use this blog for new product announcements, share customer experiences, highlight some of our local retailers, and dive in to the many advantages of using tallow products.

Due to some health issues, I learned many years ago that it was so important, not only what I put into my body, but also what I placed on my skin. In 2018 my sister, Holly, began making whipped tallow moisturizer after finding out the many benefits of tallow for your skin. (Stay tuned for an upcoming blog post on some of those benefits.) She began sharing the tallow moisturizer with family and friends. And, as her sister, I was the recipient of her hard work, and the most luxurious moisturizer I had ever put on my skin! I appreciated knowing that every ingredient was clean, natural, and health giving! I noticed right away that it felt very moisturizing, without a heavy, or greasy feeling. My PERSONAL experience is that, after long term use, it has left my skin nourished, my skin tone more even, and diminished my fine lines and wrinkles.

In 2023, after many requests, my sister, Holly, and my niece, Amy began the Mamers and Moo brand, and began selling the products to the public. Their success was seen in many customers desiring their clean, natural products for their skin care routines. Recently, due to other responsibilities, and adorably sweet babies/ grandbabies, they have transitioned the business to me.

I am thrilled to carry on this family owned business, and look forward to continuing to supply the same, wonderful products that our loyal customers have come to love.
